Notified of a 2 vehicle accident on US 23 on Jenkins Mountain. On arrival Pound Police and Rescue Squad was on the scene. The store on top of the mountain had notified dispatch of the accident and Wise County dispatched Pound.

A semi was attempting to turn from HWY 3086 into a parking lot when the trailer caught the gate causing the trailer batteries to rupture. Rescue 31 and Unit 28 responded and contained the spill and then neutralize the spill.

Firefighters responded to a two vehicle accident on US 119. MS was on scene working on patients. Firefighters were utilize to extricate an occupant of one vehicle.Units remained on scene until highway was reopened.

1) Heavy rains fell causing flash floods in the area. Neon Fire requested assistance with water rescues in the Webb Branch area of Payne Gap. Rescue 31 responded and firefighters checked into the Hollow.
