Called in the early morning hours to a vehicle fire on High Street. On arrival firefighters had 2 vehicles on fire. An attack line was pulled from E20 to extinguish the fire.

Called to a vehicle accident on US 119. On arrival firefighters found the driver out and no injuries. The vehicle had knocked over a light pole.

New member of the fire department family. Firefighter Matthew Corbett and wife Heather had a baby girl Kathryn Julianna Corbett borned Aug. 20, 2017. She is also the grand daughter of Chief Corbett.

Firefighters were called in the early morning hours to an alarm at the Headstart Building. On arrival of first firefighters, they made a walk around and cancelled further units.

Firefighters responded to an early morning alarm at the Headstart Building. On arrival firefighters walked through the building with a key holder and found everything was alright. Alarm had to be reset twice before leaving and returning to station.

Firefighters responded to a power line on roadway one mile from Pike County Line on HWY 805. On arrival firefighters found a guide line across the roadway and stretched up hillside. AEP was notified and firefighters waited until line was removed from roadway.

Firefighters responded to a one vehicle accident. On arrival firefighters found a vehicle upside down and over a hillside. Firefighters checked the driver and EMS arrived. Firefighters placed oil pad under the vehicle and disconnected the battery due to the vehicle still running.

1) Just arriving back from the brush fire when a female stopped at the firehouse and said a tree had fallen on HWY 805 near the county line. Truck 21 responded and moved the tree.2) High winds hampered firefighters at a brush fire on Woodland Trails.

Heavy winds caused a trash fire to quickly spread a fire into the woods in Wrights Hollow Circle. On arrival firefighters stretched attack lines to sides of the fire and extinguished the heavy fire.. Extinguishing hot spots occurred with hand tools and water packs.

Firefighters responded to a vehicle accident with injuries on HWY 805 near the Horseshoe Curve. On arrival firefighters checked the driver and began aid on driver. Driver first refused further treatment from EMS but later decided treatment.

1) Firefighters called to a 2 vehicle accident with injuries on HWY 805 on Dunham Hill. On arrival firefighters checked the occupants and found one still inside one vehicle. Firefighters used extrication tools to open the door.
