Called in the early morning hours to a vehicle fire on High Street. On arrival firefighters had 2 vehicles on fire. An attack line was pulled from E20 to extinguish the fire.

Called to a vehicle accident on US 119. On arrival firefighters found the driver out and no injuries. The vehicle had knocked over a light pole.

New member of the fire department family. Firefighter Matthew Corbett and wife Heather had a baby girl Kathryn Julianna Corbett borned Aug. 20, 2017. She is also the grand daughter of Chief Corbett.

A vehicle went into the concrete wall that is on US 23 . On arrival firefighters checked the occupants and placed oil dry on roadway. Firefighters assisted with traffic until the vehicle was removed.

1) Firefighters were paged to a possible extrication on US 23 at US 119 Junction. On arrival firefighters checked occupants and began aiding the occupants. Firefighters had placed absorbent material down to control the vehicle fluids leaking.

Firefighters responded in the early hours to a structure fire on US 119 near Fishpond. Firefighters arrived on scene to a fully involved house. The house was to be torn down so the firefighters protected the area around the house.

1) Firefighters were paged to HWY 805 at Neon Junction to a brush fire. Engine 9 responded and on arrival quickly extinguished the fire. 2) Firefighters responded to Crown Hill to a high angle rescue call.

1) A vehicle fire was dispatched out on US 23 at the KY/VA state line. On arrival it was found that the vehicle fire was in VA and Pound Fire Department had responded as well . Firefighters stood by to lend a hand if needed.

1) An employee from Hardees came to the fire station and told the firefighters that there was smoke in the building. Engine 20 responded. Firefighters checked the roof and inside with a thermal imaging camera.

Firefighters responded to HWY 805 to a building collapse. Heavy rains and winds caused a vacant structure to collapse on the HWY. Firefighters removed debree from roadway. No injuries found.
