Called in the early morning hours to a vehicle fire on High Street. On arrival firefighters had 2 vehicles on fire. An attack line was pulled from E20 to extinguish the fire.

Called to a vehicle accident on US 119. On arrival firefighters found the driver out and no injuries. The vehicle had knocked over a light pole.

New member of the fire department family. Firefighter Matthew Corbett and wife Heather had a baby girl Kathryn Julianna Corbett borned Aug. 20, 2017. She is also the grand daughter of Chief Corbett.

1) Reported of a tree in roadway at the Horseshoe Curve. On arrival firefighters found the tree had been removed. 2) Firefighters responded to an EMS call on HWY 805. Firefighters gathered information and rendered aid until EMS arrived.

A brush fire was reported on Dunham Mountain . Engine 9 and Unit 21 responded. On arrival firefighters found a small fire beside the road and was quickly extinguished.

An air boat had been on the lake when it flipped. Firefighter found the driver coming from the lake. Firefighters treated the driver for minor injuries. Rescue 26 was attached to the boat to bring it inland.

Firefighters responded to Dunham Hill to a vehicle over hill. Driver met the firefighters and refused treatment. Firefighters assisted with traffic control and removed debree from roadway. Units remained on scene until the vehicle was removed.

Firefighters were called to Cove Ave advised that something was burning outside of a house. On arrival firefighters found resident burning outside. He was advised to keep fire further away from the tree line.

A passer by noticed smoke coming from roof area of a trailer and notified the driver. Engine 20 and Engine 9 responded. Firefighters took an attack line from Engine 20 and made an interior attack inside the cargo/living area.

Firefighters received a page for a building fire in Kona area. Dispatch advised they had no contact with Neon Fire Dept. While enroute, dispatch notified fire units to cancel the response. They had made contact with Neon Fire Dept an they had been at the scene and fire was out.

Firefighters responded to a possible gas leak at the Double Kwick. On arrival firefighters found that the drink fountain hose line to a CO2 tank was leaking. Firefighters turned the tank off and leak stopped.
