Alarm sounding in Number One Hill. On arrival firefighters were met and told someone was cooking and alarm sounded.

Units responded to a motorcycle accident with injuries in Wyatt Hollow. On arrival firefighters aided the patient and then assisted loading the patient. Rescue was utilized for lighting.

Engine 20 and 9 responded to Straight Row for an alarm sounding. Firefighters made a walk through. A thermal Imaging Camera utilized. Nothing found and units returned to station.

New member of the fire department family. Firefighter Matthew Corbett and wife Heather had a baby girl Kathryn Julianna Corbett borned Aug. 20, 2017. She is also the grand daughter of Chief Corbett.

Alarm sounding on Elm Street brought the firefighters to respond. Before leaving the station, firefighters were cancelled and informed everything was OK.

1) Early morning EMS call to B&O Hollow brought firefighters out. Firefighters gatered information and treated the patient until EMS arrived. Firefighters assisted in moving the patient to the ambulance for transport.

Someone was burning brush and the fire grew due to winds. A neighbor called the fire department when the fire was getting close to his residence. Units responded and quickly extinguished the fire.

Engine 20 and Engine 9 responded to a vehicle fire on Jenkins Mountain on US 23. On arrival, firefighters found the vehicle with heavy flames coming from it. An attack line from Engine 20 was used to extinguished the fire.

1) Firefighters responded to an alarm activation at the Gateway Industrial Park. On arrival firefighters checked the outside and an emploee and supervisor unlocked the door to check the inside out. Everything was found to be OK.

Responded to a three vehicle accident with possible entrapment on US 23 at the Jenkins High School Exit. On arrival everyone was checked for injuries. One was treated at the scene and sent to the hospital by Neon EMS.

Firefighters were notified of a vehicle fire at Dairy Hollow near US 23. Police arrived and found a Headstart bus smoking from engine area. The batery was disconnected and the smoke stopped. Engine 20 and Unit 24 arrived and checked the bus for further signs of a fire and found everything was OK.

Firefighters responded to Marshals Branch to a power pole down. On arrival it was found a vehicle had hit the pole and left the area. The pole was in the roadway. Firefighters did traffic control and assisted in moving pole from roadway with the telephone company's assiting.

Firefighters copied the police direct of a brush fire near the stone quarry on HWY 805. Engine 20 responded and quickly extinguished the fire.

1)Firefighters responded to the Methodist Church for an EMS call. On arrival firefighters checked the patient. Patient refused further treatment or transport by EMS. 2) Firefighters responded to Elk Ave to an EMS call.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Cove Ave. On arrival it was found the water heater had shorted. Power pulled and the thermal Imaging Camera was used to check the building. Neon Fire Dept was paged but cancelled when Jenkins crew's arrived.

Firefighters were notified by the fire chief that someone had called him of a brush fire out of control in Wheaton Hollow. Engine 9 and Truck 21 responded to find a brush fire burning out of control with a shed on fire and an abandoned house threatened.

1) Firefighters were called by a resident of Durham Lane of a structure fire and brush fire. On arrival firefighters found a shed and brush on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire. 2) Firefighters were called back to Durham Lane to a brush fire.
