Firefighters responded to Number One Bottom to a call that building debree was on fire. Engine 20 arrived and firefighters quickly extinguished the outside area fire. The main area on fire had to have a loader move debree before firefighters could extinguish it.

After a heavy rain the fire department was advise an elderly female was stranded in her residence in McPeeks Branch. On arrival the firefighters found a culvert was clogged and water had risen. The female was checked on and she decided she wanted to stay after seeing everything was OK.
