1) Firefighters were called to a structure fire on HWY 805 in the early morning. On arrival house was fully involved with fire. No one was living at home at the time of the fire. Firefighters made attacks with hose from Engine 9 and Engine 5 while Tanker 18 supplied water.

Firefighters were paged to a power pole fire on HWY 805 near Number 3 Hollow. On arrival the power lines had rubbed on trees and power pole and transformer was sparking. AEP was notified and fire units remained on scene until AEP arrived.

Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire near the cement plant in Dunham. Fire was on HWY 805. On arrival heavy flames found. An attack line from Engine 5 quickly extinguished the fire. Engine 9 responded as well.

Rescue 5-7 responded to US 119 near the Bingo Hall to a two vehicle accident and entrapment. On arrival firefighters began to extricate on driver with trauma injuries. Whitesburg Fire Dept was called to assist in removing the driver of the other vehicle that was pronounced dead at the scene.

1) Fire Units responded to Burdine Post Office on call of smoke from building. Heavy smoke was found on arrival. Firefighters made interior attack on fire and advance a hose into apartment. Fans were used to remove the heat and smoke.

1) Firefighters responded to Sheas Fork to assist Neon on a kitchen fire. Neon cancelled response before arrival. 2) House fire on Straight Row. Firefighters arrived and found heavy smoke. Teams made an interior attack on both floors and used ventilation fans to removed heat and smoke.
