Firefighters were called to an outbuilding that was on fire near a house. On arrival, heavy flames were found and the wooded area was beginning to burn. Firefighters quickly attacked the fire and contained the fire.

Firefighters were notified that a gas well on US 119 Loop was leaking and making a loud noise. At the same time, firefighters were told of a well on Dunham Mountain doing the same thing. Firefighters checked both areas and found the gas company had been bleeding the wells and everything was alright....

Firefighters responded to a two vehicle accident on US 23. Firefighters checked everyone in the vehicle for injuries and everyone was OK. FIrefighters cleaned highway of debree and assisted in traffic control.
