Fire Department was paged to a forest fire in Tom Biggs Hollow in McRoberts. Second page advised the fire was near the top of Dunham Mountain. Neon Fire Dept was paged as well. On arrival it was found that the fire was a back fire by the Ky Division of Forestry to control an earlier fire.

Engine 9 responded to a 2 vehicle accident on HWY 805 near Haymond. Firefighters extricated one and assisted in cleanup of the scene. 2 were pronounced dead at the scene. Firefighters remained on scene until scene was cleared.Neon Fire and EMS also responded to the call.

1) Firefighters were notified of a vehicle fire near the Pike/Letcher Line on US 23/119. On arrival a RV Camper was fully involved with flames. Firefighters pulled an attack line from the front of Engine 20 and quickly extinguished the fire.

While the haunting at the old high school was going on , firefighters were called to a home on Libby Lane . The resident saw smoke coming from the roof area. Firefighters checked the house with a Thermal Imaging Camera and found no fire.

1) Firefighters responded to the Family Dollar Store parking lot where a child had locked himself in a vehicle. Firefighter unlocked the door. 2) Vehicle stopped at the station and told the firefighters of a forest fire near Horseshoe Curve on HWY 805.

Firefighters were notified by a female coming to station that she thought her vehicle was on fire at the Family Dollar Store. Firefighters went to parking lot and checked the vehicle. Steam was coming from a busted radiator hose.

Fire Units responded to White Wolf Drive to a structure fire. On arrival firefighters found the structure fully involved with flames and heat on neighboring house. Firefighters were hampered with live wires on the ground.

Firefighters responded to Wheaton Hollow to a possible structure fire. Firefighters used the thermal imaging camera to check area. It was found the heaters had been turned on and the dust on the coils caused the smoke.
