Firefighters responded to an unresponsive person on Store Hill. Firefighters arrived but the coroner had been already called. Firefighters assisted in removing the body.

Page for a vehicle over hill on US 23 at Joes Branch. Police arrived and found no one injuried and everyone were out of the vehicle. Fire Department was cancelled before Truck 57 went in route from station.

1) Police requested assisance in closing US 23 down due to heavy snow until highway department could get there and clear the roadway. 2) Firefighters responded to assist EMS in moving a patient.

Firefighters responded to a vehicle accident with injuries on HWY 805. Vehicle hit ice, guardrail and then cliff. Firefighters checked patient and kept the patient in the car due to the weather until EMS arrived.

Fire department responded to a possible fire on Lakeside Drive. Firefighters found everything was OK. Breakfast cooking had caused the alarm system to notify the fire department.

An apartment fire call came into the fire department late evening at Goodwater Apartments. Units responded and found the fire had been extinguished. The stove set grease on fire and the grease splattered into the kitchen.

Firefighters responded to City Hall where someone had brought a person into the building that needed emergency care. Firefighters took vitals and treatment of patient. Neon EMS arrived and transported to WARH.

Firefighters from Jenkins and Neon responded to a structure fire on HWY 805. Jenkins units arrived and entered the building and made a quick extinguishment of the fire on the second floor. Firefighters ventilated tje house and overhauled the area.

Unit 21 responded to gas smell on HWY 805 near Pike County Line. Firefighters found a natural gas smell but no leak was found. Gas company had been bleeding line earlier in the day.

Firefighters responded to a four vehicle accident with entrapment near the Bingo Hall on US 119. Neon EMS was on scene checking patients. Firefighters used oil dry around the vehicles and assisted in traffic control.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire on 3 Hollow. On arrival the carport was fully involved as well as the vehicle parked there. Engine 5 attack line was stretched and fire was quickly extinguished.

Ice on US 23 caused several accidents that shut an area of US 23 down for a time until roadway was salted by highway department. Unit 21 assisted police in traffic control.
