Called in the early morning hours to a vehicle fire on High Street. On arrival firefighters had 2 vehicles on fire. An attack line was pulled from E20 to extinguish the fire.

Called to a vehicle accident on US 119. On arrival firefighters found the driver out and no injuries. The vehicle had knocked over a light pole.

Responded to a trash fire in the Payne Gap area. Fire had got out of control and burned a old out building. Engine 5 quickly extinguished the fire.

Someone on US 23 had noticed a tree burning and notified the fire department at 0515. Firefighters found the forest fire from the night before was out but for one small area near 23. Unit advised dispatch that everything was OK.

At 2245, Engine 9 responded again to Big Elk Ave . Firefighters checked the brush fire and found the fire was still contained and the Kentucky Division of Forestry had arrived and working on the remaining fire.

At 1830, Engine 9, Unit 12 and 15, and the ATV responded to a brush fire on Big Elk Ave. Firefighters extinguished the fire near home and then confined the remaning fire.

Residence woke around 0430 to find the front porch was on fire. Fire department was notified and responded to find the fire was extinguished with a garden hose. Firefighters checked for fire extension and crawled under porch to check the area with a thermal imaging camera.

Firefighters responded to a possible suicide attempt. Policed cleared scene and firefighters checked patient. Firefighters remained at scene with PD until Neon EMS transported patient to Jenkins Community Hospital.

Unit responded at 0746 to a vehicle accident with injuries near Post Office in Burdine. Neon EMS arrived at same time and treated and transported patients to Jenkins Community Hospital. Firefighters assisted in traffic control and general cleanup of scene.

Engine 5 and 9 responded to football field at 0001 to secure landing zone. A patient from Jenkins Community Hospital was being flown out by Wings. Firefighters remained at LZ until 0115.

At 1730, firefighters were notified of a trash fire that was out of control. Engine 5 responded to Highway 119 North and quickly extinguished the fire. Firefighters returned to quarters at 1840.
