Units responded to a tanker accident on US 23/119. On arrival a tanker truck was on its side with Liquid Nitrogen being vented from pressure value. Perimeter set and firefighters stopped the diesel fuel leak on truck.

A motorcycle lost control on US 23 near the Kentucky/Virginia line. Firefighters helped the driver. Neon EMS transported to Jenkins Community Hosptal.

Electrical wiring caused an early morning fire on Slate Hill. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and removed the smoke. Neon Fire Department responded as well on the automatic aid. Residents were alerted of the fire by the smoke detectors.
